What is my Videography Style?
My videography style is best described as a cinematic home movie - natural, nostalgic, and story-driven. I focus on capturing genuine moments, real emotions, and the little details that make your day uniquely yours, creating a film that feels authentic and timeless.
What makes my approach different is that I focus less on perfect poses and more on real memories. The laughter between friends, a parent's happy tears, the nervous excitement before the ceremony, and the quiet moments you might not even notice on the day. By blending authentic storytelling with cinematic visuals and professional audio, I create films that not only show what happened, but preserve how it felt.
Is a Videographer Really WOrth it?
THE ANSWER IS YES!!
Photos capture a moment. Film lets you step back into it.
Years from now, it won’t just be about remembering what your wedding looked like. It’ll be hearing the voices again. Watching the way you looked at each other. Seeing the people you love move, laugh, dance and celebrate beside you.
The video beside this was filmed at my own parents’ wedding in 1999. Decades later, I was able to take that old VHS footage and turn it into a wedding film — and it reminded me exactly why preserving your day on video is so incredibly special.
Your wedding film isn’t just for you right now. It becomes a time capsule. Something you’ll watch on anniversaries, show your children, and one day look back on with a completely different kind of appreciation.
Trends will change. Years will pass. People will change.
But being able to press play and see it all again? That is priceless.
Your wedding day happens once. Film lets you relive it.
About Me!
Hi, I’m Emma, a solo videographer based in Denmark, Western Australia, with a passion for filmmaking and visual storytelling. I’ve always loved film and the power it has to capture moments, emotions, and stories in a way that photos alone can’t.
Today, I’m grateful to turn that passion into a career by creating films for couples, businesses, and tourism experiences — crafting each one to feel like a cinematic home movie: natural, nostalgic, and full of genuine moments you can return to again and again.
Through my work, I aim to create videos that feel authentic, cinematic, and meaningful for every client I work with.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me reading, listening to music, enjoying the quiet of a rainy day, or out in nature. These slower, meaningful moments shape my creative style and influence the way I tell stories through film.
As a solo videographer, I offer a more personal and intimate experience. You’ll work directly with me from start to finish, ensuring consistency in style, communication, and care.
